Wine Care, Processing, and Bottling
Objective
The aim of the vocational training programme is to prepare learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to perform essential winery operations. The programme equips participants to clean and sanitise winery vessels and equipment, participate in wine care and maintenance procedures, rack wine from its lees, transfer and process wine according to established technological procedures, and carry out wine bottling and storage operations.
Admission Requirement
- Completion of full general education.
Graduate Competencies
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will be able to:
- Clean and sanitise winery vessels and equipment.
- Participate in wine care and maintenance procedures.
- Rack wine from its lees.
- Transfer wine from one vessel to another.
