Vineyard Establishment and Maintenance
Objective
The aim of the vocational training programme is to prepare learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to establish and maintain vineyards. The programme equips participants to determine the fundamental principles of vineyard establishment, prepare land for vineyard planting, plant grapevines and install support systems, implement preventive measures against environmental and biological stress factors, participate in the assessment and correction of vineyard conditions, care for young vines, understand the theoretical principles of vine protection, and protect grapevines from diseases and pests.
Admission Requirement
- Completion of full general education.
Graduate Competencies
Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will be able to:
- Determine the fundamental principles of vineyard establishment.
- Prepare land for vineyard planting.
- Plant grapevines and install vineyard support systems.
