Accounting

Objective

The aim of the programme is to prepare and provide the labour market with qualified accountants capable of participating in the planning, organisation, and implementation of accounting policies within business, non-business, public organisations, institutions, or for individuals.

Graduates will be able to review and analyse financial statements and accounting records to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and standards; perform accounting entries; prepare and submit tax declarations in accordance with established procedures; ensure the transfer of tax obligations to the state budget; and prepare financial reports, primary accounting documentation, and other financial documents for both internal and external users.

 

Admission Requirement

  • Completion of full general education.

 

Employment Opportunities

Graduates holding a Higher Vocational Qualification in Accounting may be employed in private and public institutions, non-governmental organisations, auditing and consulting firms, and financial departments.

Typical positions include Chief Accountant, Assistant Accountant, and Accounting Clerk.

They may also work as self-employed professionals by providing private accounting services.
