The aim of the vocational education programme is to prepare competitive professionals in the field of artistic textiles for both local and international labour markets, with a focus on artistic weaving.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates holding a qualification in Artistic Textiles may be employed as yarn dyers, carpet weavers, rug weavers, tapestry weavers, and knitwear producers.

They may work in large, medium, or small enterprises, as well as in art studios as specialised practitioners in the field. Graduates may also establish their own workshop-studio and work on private commissions.
