Forestry
Objective
The programme aims to prepare qualified forestry specialists equipped with the knowledge and practical skills required to safely carry out forestry operations. Graduates will be able to perform a wide range of forestry activities, including timber harvesting, forest regeneration (such as seed collection, sowing, planting, and nursery establishment), timber grading and classification, the implementation of fire prevention measures, and preventive actions to protect forests against pests and diseases.
Admission Requirements
- Completion of full general education; or
- Completion of basic general education for applicants enrolling in the vocational education programme integrated with the upper secondary level of general education.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates holding a Medium Vocational Qualification in Forestry may be employed as charcoal producers, loggers, timber harvesting technicians, foresters, woodcutters, timber cruisers (forest inventory specialists), or forest workers within public institutions, as well as in small, medium-sized, and large private enterprises, including licensed forestry companies.

- Vocational Education Programme – 16 months.
- Vocational Education Programme integrated with the upper secondary level of general education – 2 years.
