Computer Networks and Systems

Objective

The aim of the vocational education programme in Computer Networks and Systems is to prepare qualified specialists in the field of computer networks and systems. The programme equips learners with the skills required to work with computer hardware and software systems, design and configure small-scale networks, and administer basic server services.

Graduates will gain knowledge of key concepts, principles, processes, and fundamental facts related to the field, as well as the ability to understand and implement the steps required to complete more complex technical tasks.

 

Admission Requirements

  • Completion of full general education; or
  • Completion of basic general education for applicants enrolling in the vocational education programme integrated with the upper secondary level of general education.

 

Employment Opportunities

Graduates holding a Medium Vocational Qualification in Computer Networks and Systems may be employed in public or municipal organisations, as well as in private companies that use information technology systems.

They may work as Computer Systems and Network Technicians in small and medium-sized office environments, performing tasks such as hardware and software configuration, network setup, and administration of network services.
