Objective
The aim of the Information Technology Support vocational education programme is to prepare competitive professionals for the information technology sector. The programme equips learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to become qualified specialists in personal computer hardware and software support.
Graduates will be able to install, configure, update, troubleshoot, optimise, diagnose, and maintain computer hardware and operating systems. They will also acquire a solid understanding of the fundamental facts, principles, processes, and concepts of the IT field, enabling them to perform both routine and more complex technical tasks effectively.
Admission Requirement
- Completion of basic general education.
Employment Opportunities
Graduates holding a Basic Vocational Qualification in Information Technology Support may be employed as IT Support Specialists in public institutions, municipal organisations, and private companies that utilise information technology systems.
